Nearly every evening, pretty much year-round, we enjoy gorgeous sunsets like this stunning February display captured as the sun descended behind fairly heavy cloud cover before dipping below the horizon only minutes later. Nestled here in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, we have more cloudy days than clear, so we're treated to an almost endless variety of breathtaking sunset displays such as this one, with clouds deeply shadowed or painted in reds, oranges, shades of gold, pinks, yellows, and blues. Spectacular!
